In 2005 GRUPO COMSA entered in the Polish market with the acquisition of a participation in Trakcja Polska-PKRE (TP-PKRE), the main polish railway construction company. Through this company, formed by two subsidiaries PKRE and PKRil, GRUPO COMSA positions itself in the East-European market, with a strong local alliance, offering an integrated railway service in railway line construction, maintenance, engineering, overhead and traction substations construction for high and medium voltage. Through this company, COMSA offers logistic railway services in this market, as PRKiI disposes of a railway transport services licence.
