COMSA has the ideal machinery for carrying out operations to replace materials and varying layouts in very short periods of time, so as not to interfere with the normal running of the lines. It uses new automated methods, such as the Track Renewal Train (T.R.T.), the only machine of its kind available in Spain, which allows track renewal work at speeds of greater than 500 metres an hour. COMSA also has equipment for assembling or renewing track with an intermittent system, suitable for new layouts or lines with greater intervals of time for carrying out the work.
