The COMSA Group participates in concessions in the area of hotel facilities and offices, as well as in the project adjudicated by the Port of Barcelona, which includes the work for constructing Hotel Vela on land reclaimed from the sea as a result of the new port entrance. It is a luxury hotel, the work of the architect Ricardo Bofill, which will be 100 m high and have 42,000 m2 built area and which seems set to become one of the most unique buildings in the new image of Barcelona from the sea. In addition, the concession contemplates the construction of an office block of 25,000 m2, an area for recreational and cultural use of 4,500 m2 and a car park; including the exploitation of the entire complex for 30 years.
